🔹 A pretty calm and short Easter week started off with some random activity at the brewery. We mainly prepared for Oppigårds to come on Tuesday. The plan was to transfer 1000 liters of Utah DIPA to one of our wild fermentation tanks for further blending with 1000 liters of an oak aged sour beer. Henrik sanitized the hoses and the tank.
🔹 The grand release of our passion fruit and saffron sour Lucifer and our spanking new Saison.
🔹 The guys from Oppigårds came by on Tuesday morning and we transferred their Utah to our blending tank. We added an active bacteria- and yeast culture to the tank for the beer to start ferment before we blend our beer with theirs next week.
🔹 For every release at Systembolaget we need to send them samples and this Tuesday I sent them samples for the two beers being released in June; Gone West and Purple Rain.
🔹 More Lethe Pilsner was kegged this Wednesday. Mostly steel kegs bound for Purgatorio but we also kegged a couple of Keykegs bound for Portal Restaurant in Stockholm.
🔹 Henrik and Johan distilled some beer to be transferred to barrels for aging.
🔹 I am still working quite a lot with the potential move of the brewery to new facilities and was finalizing most of the paper works this week.
🔹 Our Easter holiday started already on Thursday. I spent the day watching the spring arrive in the garden 🐝
